I've been with Little Sprouts since: 1994. I started as a toddler teacher. I have had the opportunity to direct at Haverhill@NECC, Andover and Lowell.
My educational background: I graduated from Keene State College with my degree in business administration and a minor in early childhood education. I am also High/Scope
Certified and facilitator trained in Stephen Covey's "7 Habits of Highly Effective People" as well as "7 Habit for Adolescents".
Fun facts about me: I am married and a mom of 3 beautiful girls Abby, Lucy and Elena (all Little Sprouts). My youngest are twins! We enjoy spending days at the beach and visiting Disney World! In my spare time I LOVE to shop.
Associate Director
I've been with Little Sprouts since: 1996.
I started in 1996 as a toddler/preschool teacher. From 1997 to 1998, I was the kindergarten teacher, and from 1999 until 2007, I was a preschool teacher and team leader. I was promoted to associate director in 2007.
My educational background: I am working towards my bachelor's degree in early childhood education, and come with many years of experience in the early childhood field. I worked at the Lawrence YMCA as a group leader and site coordinator for the school age and summer program from 1990 until 1996. While I was at the YMCA, I also substituted in their preschool and kindergarten classrooms. In 1992, I worked at the Leahy School in Lawrence as a one-on-one for an at risk third-grade student.
Fun facts about me: I like to draw, create arts and crafts, read, and spend time with my family.
