Community Partnerships for Children

 

In September 2006, Little Sprouts was awarded its second Early Reading First grant!  This $3.5 million, 3-year project is designed to give preschoolers the tools they need to enter school ready to read and ready for a lifetime of learning!

The success of the project is contingent on the quality and passion of the individuals chosen to undertake the task. 

Currently, Project Sprout-Out is hiring the following positions:

 

Literacy Coach
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Preferred.  Minimum of 5 years' experience in Early Childhood Education as both a teacher and supervisor, early literacy training and knowledge of adult learning.  Previous experience coaching highly desirable. 

Literacy Intervention Specialist
Master's Degree required, minimum 7 years' experience in Early Childhood Education both as a teacher and/or as a specialist serving at-risk children.

Community Connector
Bachelor's Degree required.  Minimum of 4 years' experience in Early Childhood Education and/or Elementary education, 3 years training/ facilitating/ marketing experience, and extensive experience working with public school districts.

Literacy Assistant
Administrative Experience: Minimum 2 years' administrative experience, excellent office and communication skills.  Bachelor's Degree preferred.
