A memorable summer camp filled with fun and learning: Summer Programs at Little Sprouts.

Ages: 5 years to 12 years

Just because school’s out for summer doesn't mean that the learning needs to stop! Little Sprouts’ summer programs take advantage of all the season has to offer. Our themed weekly sessions encourage creativity and imagination. Give your child the opportunity to have a summer they’ll never forget!

Summer activities and day camp at Little Sprouts schools:

Blooming Sprouts (Ages 5 - 6)
Our Blooming Sprouts program for children ages 5-6, is conveniently located at several Little Sprouts schools. Our licensed program is packed with activities to awaken the senses, and is sure to provide your child with an exciting, memorable, and fun-filled summer. Our Blooming Sprouts campers follow the same fun-filled weekly themes as Camp Big Sprouts, specially modified towards your child's age. Available at: Amesbury, 
Andover @ IP, Dedham, Haverhill, Lawrence, Methuen, and North Andover Little Sprouts locations. 

Camp Big Sprouts (Ages 7 - 12)

Camp Big Sprouts is BIG on fun and BIG on summer learning! Specially designed for children ages 7-12 years old, Camp Big Sprouts is the summer camp where your child discovers new skills through active play, weekly field trips, and special interest clubs. Kids will enjoy the beautiful outdoor settings of Northern Essex Community College (Haverhill), while participating in a variety of exciting activities. From building a giant water wall, to earning the top spot in sports contests, or cooking up recipes and starring in theater, every day offers exciting possibilities for making new friends and building self-esteem. Your child will have so much fun, they won't even know they're learning!

Make it the best summer yet! Camp Big Sprouts serves families from all over the Merrimack Valley. Transportation is available from: Andover @ IP, Haverhill, Lawrence, and Methuen Little Sprouts locations.

Summer Celebration 

Start making new friends by celebrating what you love most about summer. Enjoy the sights and sounds of our beautiful outdoor setting, tie-dye crazy colored shirts, bake flip flop-shaped cookies, and sing classic campfire songs, all while meeting other campers and building self-esteem.


July 6 - 10 

 Red, White and Blue

Remember the American Revolution with all that is red, white and blue. Play a game of flag tag relay or make your own family flag. Wear stars and stripes as you learn more about America’s forefathers and how you can be independent, too! 


 July 13 - 17

Silly Science Week 

This is not your ordinary science lesson – welcome to the Big Sprouts Investigation Lab! Examine the inner-workings of a giant water wall, create exploding volcanoes and chemical reactions, and challenge your team to win a colossal Lego competition. Have fun with food as we build marshmallow and toothpick bridges and learn to cook up rock candy. Science never tasted so sweet! 


 July 20 - 24

 Outdoor Madness

Explore the world around you by venturing off into nature this week. Campers can discover the animal kingdom, get our hands dirty with eco-friendly gardening and soil composting, and participate in nature scavenger hunts on walks to Winnekenni Castle.


 July 27 - 31

 Go Green

Learn about sustainability and how to protect the environment around us. Reduce, reuse, recycle and have FUN! Build water walls and play a game of water charades as we explore how to reduce our carbon footprint.


 Aug 3 - 7

Once Upon a Story

Use your imagination to dream up a world of make believe. From the dinosaurs to the Dark Ages and medieval fortresses to fairy castles, you will love Big Sprouts all throughout the day and “knight.”


Aug 10 - 14

Camp Big Sprouts Got Talent

Lights, camera, action! Strut your stuff as you show off your favorite talents. Learn all about the Arts this week as you sing it, wing it, dance it, prance it, make it, bake it, sketch it, or etch it. You’ve got talent! At the final Talent Show, you can tell us all about what made your summer great.  


Aug 17 - 21

Wet N' Wild

Water, water everywhere! Make sure you soak up the last bit of summer on a field trip to the beach or try to win the water balloon toss contest after you dunk your counselors in a big tank of chilly water. Summer sun and water fun! Plus, this week, all families will be invited to our biggest “Family Day” cookout yet.
