Alondra Lozano

7+ Years in Early Education

Alondra began her journey in Early Childhood Education as a volunteer teacher, quickly falling in love with the field. After earning her AA in Early Childhood Education, she worked at Little Sprouts Andover as a toddler and preschool teacher. She then moved to another center to serve low-income families as a kindergarten teacher. ​ Following the birth of her own child, Alondra found her happy place at Little Sprouts Lawrence, starting as a Pre-K teacher. Her passion for teaching and mentoring led her to become the assistant director and eventually the executive director. Alondra holds a Bachelor's degree in Child and Family Studies, focusing on family engagement in early childhood settings. She is deeply committed to making a positive impact on every child and family in her center, and ultimately, the entire community.

Alexa Gomez

With Little Sprouts Since 2007

Alexa began as a preschool and toddler float before discovering her passion for preschool education. She taught at Little Sprouts Andover for 13 years. In 2020, she became the Assistant Director and now continues her journey at Little Sprouts Lawrence. As Assistant Director, Alexa is passionate about fostering young minds and creating an environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. She collaborates closely with teachers, providing them with the tools, resources, and support needed for impactful and engaging classroom experiences. Alexa aims to inspire both educators and students, ensuring every child has access to quality education and the opportunity to reach their full potential. By nurturing a positive and supportive school culture, she empowers teachers and ignites a lifelong love of learning in students.

Heather Currie

30+ Years in Early Education

Heather started her journey in 1995 as a preschool teacher, on to a center director, and over the last nine years has been in the regional manager role at Little Sprouts. Heather understands and works to support the centers in providing and fostering the highest quality environments for children to thrive. Heather holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix in Business Administration and an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Heather has three children, ages 27, 24, and 15, who are all Little Sprouts graduates! In her spare time, she enjoys working out, being outdoors in the warmer months, and spending time with her family.

These group sizes help create a balanced, nurturing environment where children can learn, explore, and build strong relationships.

Yes. Our school is open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to support your work schedule and provide your child with a full day of engaging, nurturing care.

Our spacious classrooms, wide hallways, and central gross motor room create an open, easy-to-navigate environment for children and families. The multipurpose gross motor/STEAM room includes areas for sensory exploration, hands-on projects, and creative movement, giving children opportunities to learn and discover in new ways throughout the day.

Children participate in biweekly music sessions as well as weekly Spanish classes every Wednesday. The school also incorporates a bilingual curriculum into daily learning experiences.

We host a family engagement event every season, such as a Fall Festival, Winter Wonderland, or Summer Bash. Monthly spirit days invite families to participate in simple, joyful activities, and our bi-monthly parent committee meetings provide a collaborative space for parents and teachers to share ideas and strengthen our school community.

Our school participates in Fire Safety Awareness events at the Lawrence Fire Station and stays connected with the broader community through family-centered initiatives and seasonal activities.
