With Little Sprouts Since 2012

Rena brings over 20 years of experience in education, starting her career teaching at the high school and middle school levels before transitioning to early childhood education. She spent eight years at Little Sprouts Andover, honing her skills and deepening her commitment to early childhood development. In 2020, Rena joined Little Sprouts Melrose, where she oversees the educational growth of both staff and children. Rena holds a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Salem State University and a Master's Degree in Education from Cambridge College. Her strong educational foundation and extensive experience in teaching and leadership enable her to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, watching history documentaries, walking her dog, and visiting family in Canada.

Sydney brings over a decade of teaching experience to her role as Assistant Director. After earning her degree from the University of Arizona, she taught Kindergarten in Tucson before spending 10 years in Los Angeles' charter and private schools. Sydney moved to Massachusetts last August with her husband, inspired to pursue a leadership role to leverage her extensive classroom expertise to support fellow educators and enhance her knowledge of early education. She is passionate about fostering a nurturing and innovative learning environment for both teachers and students.

Heather Currie

Heather started her journey in 1995 as a preschool teacher and moved on to a center director. Over the last nine years, she has been in the regional manager role at Little Sprouts. Heather understands and works to support the centers in providing and fostering the highest quality environments for children to thrive. Heather holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix in Business Administration and an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education. Heather has three children, ages 27, 24, and 15, who are all Little Sprouts graduates! In her spare time, she enjoys working out, being outdoors in the warmer months, and spending time with her family.
