Beside the school, two private playgrounds provide a means for your child to expend some of that seemingly limitless energy. Our toddler and preschool play spaces provide safe, developmentally-appropriate areas for your child to enjoy spending time outside. Infant classrooms will also revel in ample outdoor time during escorted buggy rides to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. As a bonus, our Natick school also features an indoor play area for your child to play and run during rainy days or cold winter months. Outdoor Playgrounds

Our outdoor spaces are designed for safety and sized for growth. Each playground is tailored to a specific age group - ensuring safe play that supports physical development and social interaction at every stage.

Discovery Space

Our active spaces are designed to strengthen coordination, balance, and muscle development through climbing, jumping, crawling, and dancing. They also encourage curiosity with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities for hands-on learning.

Music & Movement

Included weekly in all classrooms, this program blends music therapy with educational play to support developmental growth through song, instruments, sign language, and movement.

Nature Stations

Nature stations bring the outdoors in, offering hands-on exploration of natural materials and seasonal changes. These spaces spark wonder, observation, and a deep connection to the environment.

Seed & Sew

Executive Director

Abby Mulford

10+ Years of Experience in ECE

Abby brings extensive knowledge and dedication to her role. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Abby discovered her passion for Early Education while working as an after-school teacher, leading her to earn her Director Certification in 2018. Residing in Dedham with her husband, infant daughter, and their 18lb cat, Grammy, Abby enjoys reading, walking, and cooking new recipes. Her commitment to nurturing and supporting children and educators makes her an invaluable leader.

Rebecca Smith

Teaching since 2003

Originally from the UK, Rebecca moved to the US in 2018 and has been teaching since 2003, primarily in preschool classrooms. She earned her Director Certification in 2022. Rebecca holds a Diploma in Childcare and Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood, and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Early Education. Residing in Natick with her husband, infant son, and pet lizards — Harry, Fifi, and Mango — Rebecca enjoys spending time in nature, walking the beautiful Massachusetts trails, and reading a good book. Her extensive experience and dedication to early education make her a valuable member of the Little Sprouts Natick team.

Leslie Flanagan

27+ Years of Experience in the Field of ECE

Leslie Flanagan, with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College, began her career in 1998. She transitioned from teaching preschool and toddler programs to leadership roles, including Center Director at various corporate child care schools. In January 2024, Leslie joined Little Sprouts as the Quality Resource Manager, enhancing classroom environments and upholding health and safety standards. Promoted to Regional Manager in January 2025, Leslie is dedicated to providing high-quality care and education, fostering strong relationships with families, and promoting open communication and collaboration.
